Gemma Lighting shortlisted for Trethowans Award for Excellence Through Innovation

Gemma Lighting are once again enjoying the plaudits after being nominated for another Business Award, their sixth nomination of 2013.

The LED lighting manufacturers have already enjoyed success at the Portsmouth News Business Excellence Awards earlier this year, and have now been shortlisted for the Trethowans Award for Excellence Through Innovation at the South Coast Business Awards on Friday 12th July at the Grand Harbour Hotel in Southampton.

The judges said they were very impressed by Gemma’s entry, and the nomination is further acknowledgement of the cutting edge LED lighting technology Gemma Lighting has to offer their customers.

Also up for the award are Bluestar, the Mayflower Theatre and Saab Seaeye, with the winners announced at next month’s black tie event.

The nomination is Gemma Lighting’s sixth of the year, and makes for a busy time for Gemma Lighting as later this year they travel to Brighton as one of the companies taking part in the Southern Business Awards in Brighton.

The South Coast Business Awards aim to boost standards, spur on competition and champion the sterling contribution firms make to the local economy, and in 2013 the guest speaker at the ceremony will be Michael Portillo.

Gemma Lighting Limited was established to create an innovative concept for environmentally friendly lighting requirements.

Drawing on vast experience of LED Technology since 2003, the team at Gemma Lighting have been designing, developing and manufacturing a new generation of LED lighting solutions for numerous applications, both indoors and out.
