Time is running out for fluorescent lighting as they will no longer be available throughout 2023 as part of Stage 2 of the Single Lighting Regulation and the updated Restriction of Hazardous Substance (RoHS) directive.
Here’s a list of key dates for the coming year.
25 February 2023
Fluorescent lamps in ring form (T5 and T9) and compact fluorescent lamps with plug-in base (CFLni) will no longer be sold.
24 August 2023
Fluorescent lamps (T5 and T8) will be taken off the market.
01 September 2023
Halogen pins (G4, GY6.35, G9) will no longer be sold.
