Gemma Lighting at WETEX conference Dubai 2013

Gemma Lighting joined over a thousand companies from across the globe exhibiting at the WETEX 2013 conference in Dubai earlier this month.

Now in its 15th year, WETEX (water, energy, technology and environment exhibition) attracts organisations from all over the world, and discusses sustainability in Dubai using the latest technologies available across a variety of markets.

Taking place alongside the Dubai global energy forum 2013, the event was held at the Dubai international convention and exhibition centre (DICEC) in the heart of the business district.

Presenting at the event in conjunction with our partners Value Addition (FZC), Gemma Lighting attended to promote their range of award-winning, energy saving LED lighting technology.

The Gemma Lighting team were on hand to demonstrate to visitors of the stand how LED lighting can make drastic reductions in energy costs, maintenance fees and carbon emissions.

Sales Director Mark Major also conducted one the programme’s scheduled presentations on LED lighting, giving advice on what to look for when purchasing LED as well as comparing it with other lighting technologies such as sodium, halogen and metal halide fittings.

Founder and Chairman of the WETEX conference Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer is also Managing Director and CEO of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, who themselves are major users of Gemma Lighting’s LED products.

Gemma were pleased to be a part of the event, demonstrating how their UK manufactured range can provide efficient and cost-effective means of safeguarding energy usage.
